Oppo Enco X price and launch details
For now, the Oppo Enco X is only available in China, priced at CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 11,000). However, the company could launch the new truly wireless headphones in India in the coming weeks, especially to take advantage of the festive season. Also, features like active noise cancellation and wireless charging will appeal to buyers in this price range.
Oppo Enco X Features and Specifications
The Oppo Enco X features active noise cancellation that uses a dual microphone system for ANC functionality, while there are a total of three microphones in each earpiece that work for ambient noise reduction and voice capture. The earbuds’ charging case supports Qi wireless and wired USB Type-C charging, with a declared battery life of up to 4 hours of listening to music with ANC on and up to 20 hours with the charging case.
For connectivity, the Oppo Enco X uses Bluetooth 5.2, with support for the Bluetooth SBC, AAC and LHDC codecs. The advanced high-resolution LHDC codec is not widely supported at the moment, but could be useful when the headphones are used with compatible smartphones and source devices. There is also a low latency mode that promises to reduce the delay of Bluetooth audio streaming to just 47 ms.
A key feature of the Oppo Enco X is sound tuning, done in collaboration with Danish speaker manufacturer Dynaudio. The headphones feature a dual driver setup, with an 11mm voice coil driver and a 6mm flat diaphragm driver on each earbud. The Enco X headphones have an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, as well as touch controls.
