OnePlus 8T release date will apparently be October 14

We’ve heard a lot about OnePlus’ upcoming smartphone, the OnePlus 8T, but a release date hinted at us. Today, a report by Ishan Agarwal and MySmartPrice may have confirmed that information.

Apparently the OnePlus 8T will see a release date of October 14, roughly a month behind last year’s OnePlus 7T and previous “T” releases. The launch event, of course, will take place exclusively online, as will the launch of the standard OnePlus 8 series earlier this year.

From the recent leaks, we have learned almost everything important about the OnePlus 8T. In the spec sheet, the processor will be updated to the Snapdragon 865+ and we will also get a 120Hz screen and an improved camera sensor. Beyond that though, this will mostly be the same phone that debuted earlier this year.

However, in particular, OnePlus is bringing a new design to this phone. It will be remarkably similar to the company’s OnePlus Nord and also to Samsung’s Galaxy S20 series.

We still don’t know what the OnePlus 8T will be priced at, but clearly we won’t have to wait too long until we find out.
