Nargis died of pancreatic cancer
With memories of the deaths of Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor still fresh in everyone’s minds, it should be known that on May 3, 1981, when Nargis passed away, he had been battling pancreatic cancer.

How he ended up marrying Sunil Dutt
Nargis had a long-standing relationship with Raj Kapoor, who was married and had children. He reportedly asked him to divorce his wife, which he refused. Then their nine-year relationship ended.

Nargis left the movies, not public life

In his heyday too, Nargis hardly cared about his star status and would happily have pani pooris (an Indian street food) from street vendors. She was also an ace swimmer and loved to play cricket with her brothers.
