On Gandhi Jayanti, Rahul Gandhi quotes the Mahatma to say that he will not bow down to injustice

Congressional Leader Rahul Gandhi shared Mahatma Gandhi’s thoughts on the prevalence of truth and the principle of never bowing to injustice on Friday on the 151st anniversary of the birth of the Father of the Nation.

Gandhi’s tribute came a day after Uttar Pradesh police detained him along with Priyanka Gandhi, his sister and party secretary general, as he tried to reach Hathras, where they allegedly gang-raped and murdered a woman.

“I will not fear anyone in the world … I will not bow down to anyone’s injustice, I will win the lie with the truth and I will be able to endure all the suffering while I oppose the lie,” the congressional leader tweeted in Hindi.
