Office of Narcotics Control raids actor Arjun Rampal’s home in Mumbai

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted raids on actor Arjun Rampal’s Mumbai facility on Monday, the ANI news agency reported.

The NCB has yet to say anything about the raids. More details are expected.

This comes a day after film producer Firoz Nadiawala’s home was raided by the office on Sunday and his wife Shabana Saeed was arrested under the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS). The producer was also summoned by the agency.

Previously, the NCB had arrested Agisilaos Demetriades, brother of Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella. Reports suggest that Agisilaos was part of a drug syndicate linked to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

NCB officers said Agisilaos was in constant contact with many drug dealers who supplied drugs to Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and others arrested in the Rajput death case. Both Rhea and Showik were also arrested by the office earlier.

Rhea was released on bail by the Bombay High Court on October 7, while Showik remains in custody.
