JEE Main 2020: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the result of the recently concluded Main Joint Entrance Exams (JEE) before September 11. Those who are in the top 2.5 lakh of JEE Main can request JEE Advanced. Since the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has announced the opening of the application date for JEE Advanced from September 12, the same was scheduled to begin on September 11. So today you can expect the output from JEE Main.

The exams that have been delayed a month are the entrance exams to the undergraduate courses in engineering, architecture and planning. While in one of his previous speeches, the Minister of Education had said that the agencies are ready to conduct the exams and publish the results quickly to ensure minimal delay in the start of the new session.

The output of JEE Main will consist of the two attempts: the January and April / September session. For students who had appeared in both sessions, the result will be based on the best of the attempt. Along with the percentile score, the NTA will also publish a ranking list. Although the exam takes place twice a year, the ranking list is published only once, combining both sessions.

Last year, a total of 24 candidates had obtained a perfect 100 percentile Score of more than 11.4 lakh from candidates appearing in both attempts. In the January attempt, a total of nine students scored in the 100th percentile; of them were twin brothers from Delhi have passed the exam with a score of 100 and 99.9 percentiles.

Based on the main JEE results, students can enter state-level engineering colleges, universities, including NITs. For IIT admission only, only the top 2.5 lakhs will be selected to appear in JEE Advanced.

This year, the JEE Main took place with a new pattern. Numerical questions were introduced for the first time this year. These questions did not have a negative rating. In addition to these questions, the number of EMPs was also reduced.
