It is expected that the number of tests high-profile, beginning on December 17, stabilize the revenue stream, but Kohli returning after the opener in Adelaide for the birth of her first child, there have been doubts that could affect the host nation cricket board. . Hockley, however, confirmed that Kohli’s absence will not affect CA’s finances much.

“Virat leading the team here brings the competitive leadership that we have seen during the last series and we are used to seeing (that) during Indian performances around the world. (But) no, nothing will have a financial impact. ”

“This series is of great importance for world cricket and Australian cricket. It is a testament to all cricket nations that we could safely launch international cricket. The series will be played in front of large crowds. “Hockley ruled out the possibility of hosting a complete series of tests day and night in the near future, but said the first game of the pink ball 17 to December 21 has taken over the fans.

“What I can say is that day / night testing for the past 3-4 seasons has become a much loved feature of the Australian summer. The anticipation and excitement surrounding this first day / night test against India has taken to a different level, given the rivalry.
