Walking across the world’s longest glass bridge in China may seem like a distant dream in a pandemic world, but here’s a resource to get a thrill-seeker’s heart racing. A glass bridge at Rajgir in Bihar in the middle of five hills is almost ready to receive tourists from all over the world. This is the first glass bridge to be built in Bihar to increase the influx of national and foreign visitors to the state.
The glass bridge integrated with the Hangzhou province glass bridge will be 85 feet long and 6 feet wide and can accommodate 40 visitors at a time. Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar recently visited the site for inspection. The New Year is coming and tourists can step on the glass and steel structure.

Tourist attraction on and around Bihar’s first elevated walkway
A state-of-the-art cable car and jungle safari are being built to captivate tourists in Nalanda. The glass bridge will be part of the nature safari that is taking place on 500 acres of historic Budh Marg. Rajgir dense forest safari zoo is recognized by the Central Zoo Authority.
There will be around 18 glass-covered cabins on the new cable car, each with 8 tourists who will cover 750 meters in five minutes.
In addition, tourists can also practice various adventure sports such as aerial biking or be part of the Gondola cable car ride. The butterfly park, the Ayurveda park will be the other great attraction of the place.
Cabins are being built in the areas for a comfortable stay for visitors. Venu Van beautification is also underway
Rajgir leads the income generated by tourism in Bihar. Historically, Rajgir is of great importance. Top attractions include the Son Bhandar Caves, the hot spring, known locally as Brahmakund, and the Peach Pagoda, Vishwa Shanti Stupa. Nalanda, a seat for academic intelligence in ancient times is also very close. With this new gateway, tourism in the state is expected to grow by leaps and bounds.
Meanwhile, India’s first footbridge is at Sikkim’s Pelling, located right in front of a 137-foot statue of Chenrezig, who according to folklore, is the earthly incarnation of Lord Buddha. Nestled in the middle of the Himalayas, the glass walkway stands at an elevation of 7,200 feet above sea level.
