‘Nobody takes anything, a new film city is developing in UP’: Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said Wednesday that Bollywood will operate in Mumbai but a new film city will be built in UP.

Speaking to reporters in Mumbai, Adityanath said: “Nobody takes anything. This is an open competition. Whoever can provide social security and an environment conducive to work will get business ”.

“Bollywood will work in Mumbai but a new film city will be built in UP. We will build a world-class film city with all the facilities. I spoke with filmmakers and related people. We are not stealing investment from any state, “added the UP prime minister.

Adityanath said there are many factors driving investments, including the stability of the state government.

“Uttar Pradesh has a population of 24 million rupees. The state is the biggest job creator with 1.25 lakh of jobs, ”said Minister Chie, highlighting the achievements of his government.

Adityanath is in Mumbai to list the Lucknow Municipal Corporation bonds on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). He said it is a source of pride for UP that the Lucknow Municipal Corporation has raised 200 million rupees through its bonds.

“It is the trust of investors, which UP has earned over the last three and a half years. Our effort to improve infrastructure in urban areas will increase. It shows the improvement in the state’s industrial climate and the confidence that investors have placed in the machinery, ”said Adityanath.

According to the UP Chief Minister’s Office, Lucknow Municipal Corporation has become the first civic body in North India to issue bonds, even as the process of issuing municipal bonds by civic bodies started in the country in 1997.

Adityanath had previously presented an ambitious plan to establish a film city and launched an open offer to film the fraternity to come to Uttar Pradesh.

But the ruler Shiv Sena responded by saying that it is not easy to move the film city of Mumbai elsewhere, even though attempts have been made.

“What is the current state of Noida Film City? Can you create Film City of Mumbai in Lucknow and Patna? “said CShiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut.

“Before, attempts were made. It is difficult to replicate the Mumbai film industry elsewhere. Mumbai has a glorious film history and past, ”added Raut.

Raut pointed out that the south and Bengal also have large film industries. Southern superstars Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi have also worked in Hindi films.
