Nissan Magnite promises to offer the lowest maintenance cost in the price segment

Launched on December 2, the new Nissan Magnite has been posting booking records every few days. First there were 5k reservations in 5 days, then 10k reservations came and today there are 15k reservations. All this, in just 17 days from its launch. Inquiries on Magnite have crossed 1.5 lakh across India.

All of this, even before a single unit of Magnite has been delivered. The huge demand has resulted in a waiting period spanning 6 months for a selected variant. Nissan Magnite deliveries are expected to begin next month. The Magnite price, which is currently Rs 4.99 lakhs, will also increase from January 1, 2020. All those who pre-order Magnite before then will be eligible for the introductory price.

Lowest maintenance cost

In addition to offering Magnite at an impressive price, Nissan also promises that Magnite will come with the lowest maintenance cost of just 29 paise per km. The standard warranty is 2 years / 50k km, while you can choose to extend the warranty to 5 years / 1 lakh km. The company states that “Nissan also offers its customers a number of labor-free services available on all service networks in the country at Magnite.”

Nissan Magnite Care

With Magnite, Nissan India has launched a new plan for its customers. This is a prepaid plan, called Nissan Magnite Care. Nissan says this plan will allow its customers to save even more by 22%.

This new plan is applicable from two to five years and is available in all Nissan service networks in the country, with options to choose between the ‘GOLD’ and ‘SILVER’ packages. The Gold package covers the comprehensive periodic maintenance service and the Silver package covers the basic maintenance service. The maintenance plan is also transferable with the change of ownership, which strengthens the residual value of Magnite. “

Exterior, interior and technology

The Magnite is offered in four key versions of the XE, XL, XV and XV Premium and comes with 20 first-in-class features in your 20s. The new Magnite receives LED headlights and fog lights along with ‘L’ shaped LED DRLs. It has a chrome-finished front grille and sits on two-tone alloy wheels embedded in square wheel arches.

The interiors sport a range of infotainment technology and features, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has Nissan Connect and a 7-inch TFT screen. Features also include steering-mounted controls, wireless charging, an all-around vision monitor, and an engine start / stop button. It also has ABS, EBD, HSA, HBA, VDC and ISOFIX child seat mounts among its onboard safety equipment.

Nissan has also introduced a dealer accessory kit called ‘Technology package’ at the Magnite. Priced at Rs 38,698, this bundle includes a wireless charging pad, an air purification system, and ambient lighting. It also has a JBL sound system and two-tone paint options and is available only in the XV trim up.
