The highly anticipated wedding of Tollywood actress Niharika Konidela to her fiance Chaitanya Jonnalagadda finally took place on Wednesday at 7.15pm at the Udaivilas Palace in Udaipur. The wedding was an intimate yet grand affair with 120 close family and friends in attendance, due to current COVID-19 restrictions. The wedding in Udaipur was reportedly planned by Niharika’s brother, Varun Tej, who is also an actor.
On her wedding day, Niharika had been seen wearing a bright red pattu saree, a green blouse in contrast to Muggam’s work embroidered on it, and matching jewelry. During the Jeela Karra Bellam event, while Niharika was seen in a golden colored sari, with a veil over her head, Chaitanya wore chocolate brown kurta pajamas.

Sharing a photo from the wedding, Niharika’s father Nagababu wrote an emotional note about Niharika. “Serious nostalgia hit me again! It feels like the first day of his school, only he won’t be back at night. It took me years to come to terms with the fact that my baby has grown up to go to school. I don’t know how long this time will be. Only time will decide, ”he said.

The family members were seen in great attire for Niharika and Chaitanya’s wedding.
The pre-wedding festivities began with a Sangeeth, where Tollywood songs were played. Photos of Allu Arjun, Sneha Reddy, Ram Charan, Upasana Konidela, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, among others, were also widely shared during the event. The Sangeet was followed by a Mehendi ceremony.

In the workplace, Niharika was last seen in films like Oka Manasu, Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren, Happy Wedding Y Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. She has also been a television presenter for Dhee Juniors on ETV. While her fiancé, Chaitanya Jonnalagadda, is the son of Guntur Police Inspector General J Prabhakar Rao, he currently works at Tech Mahindra and graduated from the Indian Business School. The duo got engaged in Hyderabad on August 13 in an intimate ceremony.
