A conversation between Pakistani supporters Mohammad Abbas and Naseem Shah, which was captured with the stump microphone during the second Test Match against New Zealand has gone viral on social media.
Both players were on the fold with Pakistan stuttering at 293/9 in 82 overs. It was during a break between overs that young talent Naseem Shah told his senior player: “Abbas bhai aapko pata hai sari zimmedaari mere upar hai, bachelor karna hai varna daant pad jaayegi” (Abbas bhai, the responsibility for hitting is now about me. You have to take just one, otherwise you will be scolded) “Abbas laughs out loud upon hearing this.

Pakistan finally went total by 297 in their first innings and with that, the stumps were called up for the day. Batter Azhar Ali led the way with his 93-run hit, while captain Mohammad Rizwan also scored another half century on the first day of the Christchurch Test at the Hagley Oval.
Pakistan at the point was 83/4, but an 88-run partnership between substitute captain Mohammad Rizwan and Azhar Ali, and some stamina from the latter helped them reach 297. Rizwan was ultimately sacked for 61 runs.
New Zealand was led once again by Kyle Jamieson, who ran a 5 wicket round and was ably supported by veteran Tim Southee and Trent Boult. Matt Henry, who entered this match in place of the injured Neil Wagner, took a wicket.
Short scores: Pakistan 297 (Azhar 93, Rizwan 61, Ashraf 48, Jamieson 5-69) v New Zealand
