What is the status with 2 NEW IPL equipment?
InsideSport has already reported that BCCI AGM will approve the inclusion of two new teams, but as of IPL 2022. According to available information, BCCI members believe that including two new teams with immediate effect will not be feasible, but all are ready to approve new equipment for IPL 2022.

What is the ICC T20 World Cup tax exemption problem?
The ICC wants tax breaks for next year’s T20 World Cup in India. The ICC has given the BCCI several deadlines to provide a tax exemption certificate from the Government of India, which is mandatory for hosting ICC events. BCCI AGM will discuss the issue among its members and decide the way forward.

The new ICC deadline is December 31. “In accordance with Clause 10.20 of the venue agreement for this event, the BCCI is obliged to provide ICC with a total tax exemption for all income arising from this event in favor of ICC, its subsidiaries and associates and its members by least 18 months before the start of the event ”, the BCCI has mentioned in the documents of the agenda of its 89th Annual General Meeting to be held in Ahmedabad on Thursday.

Cricket at the Olympics

The ICC is targeting the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, but so far the BCCI has been reluctant to include cricket in the Olympics. There is a fear that T20 cricket at the Olympics could negatively affect the revenue stream from bilateral and global T20 events. The BCCI meeting will decide its position on cricket at the Olympic Games.
