Happy birthday, Kartik Aaryan! The actor turned 30 years old on Sunday and on the occasion surprised his fans by announcing his new movie: Dhamaka. The film will be directed by Ram Madhvani, known for directing the Aarya web series, and co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala and the director. In his latest Instagram post, Kartik Aaryan posted a moving poster for the film showing him watching a bridge burn from a building window on the other side of the site. He can be seen sporting a suit, a pair of glasses, and a beard on the poster. The text on the poster read, “Live in 2021,” indicating that the filming schedule for the film will begin next year.
In announcing the film, Kartik Aaryan wrote: “Aaj mere birthday hai. #DHAMAKA hona chahiye. “

Dhamaka will mark Kartik Aaryan’s first project with Ram Madhvani, who has directed the 2016 film Neerja. Other details about the film have yet to be revealed.
Kartik Aaryan was last seen at Imtiaz Ali’s I love Aaj Kal, in which he shared screen space with Sara Ali Khan. It was a sequel to Imtiaz’s 2009 I love Aaj Kal, starring Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles.
He made his Bollywood debut with the 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. Post that, Kartik Aaryan appeared in several movies, including Akaash Vani, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Luka Chuppi, Guest Iin London, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Y Pati Patni Aur Woh.
The actor has a couple of movies lined up like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Y Dostana 2.
