Neetu Kapoor Returns to Mumbai by Air Ambulance After Testing Positive for Covid-19; Varun Dhawan, Raj Mehta in quarantine


Jug Jugg Jeeyo actors Neetu kapoor Y Varun Dhawan and director Raj mehta have tested positive for the coronavirus. While Varun and Raj have decided to stay in Chandigarh (where they were filming) and self-quarantine, the 62-year-old actress returned to Mumbai in an air ambulance.

Ranbir Kapoor arranged the necessary arrangements to get his mother back. He arranged the air ambulance for her. She is back in Mumbai and has received proper care here. A source told a news agency: “Ranbir arranged the air ambulance to retrieve her. If she is here she will receive adequate hospitalization and isolation, otherwise she would be alone in Chandigarh,” the source said.

Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani, who were also filming for the movie, tested negative for the coronavirus. “In order to put an end to the rumors, I have tested negative on COVID-19. Thank you all for your concern and good wishes, “Anil Kapoor tweeted.

Additionally, Maniesh Paul, who was also filming for Jug Jugg Jeeyo in Chandigarh, tested positive for Covid-19. He started filming late last month; his first shot was with Varun Dhawan and Anil Kapoor.

Shooting for the movie has been postponed until everyone is back on set in shape.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo is Raj Mehta’s second director after Good Newwz. It revolves around two married couples, Varun and Kiara and Varun’s parents, Anil and Neetu. The film marks the return of Neetu, eight years after Besharam, who had featured her alongside her late husband, Rishi Kapoor, and their son Ranbir.
