National test of eligibility cum income, NEET 2020 has come to an end. The undergraduate entrance exam is the only exam for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in the country, including at AIIMS and JIPMER, as well as state, central and private medical colleges. The reactions of the students who took the exam suggested that the work was moderate to difficult. The experts agreed with the general statement and suggested that it was difficult with expectation with a level of difficulty lower than 2019, but not significantly. Check out the full review below.
NEET 2020 Answer key and result date (provisional)
NTA has not released the official calendar for the answer key and the results. However, according to the official statement of the Minister of Education, the result of NEET 2020 is expected to be published before September 30. Dates are likely to change, but will be released in a month. Additionally, following a fast-paced schedule, the NEET 2020 response keys are expected to be released tomorrow or by September 16 at the latest. Check ntaneet.nic.in for the latest updates. The full analysis would be available only at the end of the day. Preliminary expert reports suggest that the job was moderately difficult. The Physics and Chemistry section would determine whether students qualify for the exam or not, noted Chandrashekhar Sir, who has been training students for more than 15 years for various exams. The shared cut will be reviewed after the full analysis is available.
“We are reviewing the questions shared by the students and will try to have a preliminary answer key ready by tomorrow. However, it is difficult to comment on this point. In general, given the general level of difficulty, the cut is expected to remain similar to previous years, ”she added.
In 2019, a total of 1,519,375 candidates had registered for the NEET 2019 exam and around 14.10 lakh had appeared. With the grading criteria set to the percentile rank, the cutoff is expected to vary based on the number of students actually showing up today. If the number of students showing up falls by more than 20 percent, the expected limit is expected to increase by 5 to 10 points in the General Category.
In 2019, of the 14,10,755 candidates who took the exam. 79.31% of students appeared for NEET 2019 in English language, while 1.79,857 candidates or 11.84% of candidates took the exam in Hindi.
