NEET 2020 Limit: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the threshold for the National Cum Entry Eligibility Test – NEET UG to pre-screen applicants for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc and AH courses. The cut-off point is the minimum grade point percentile and the scores that must be obtained to pass the test. The cutoff percentile that must be secured for the qualified entrance exam has been published through the information booklet.
The NEET 2020 crop marks will be posted along with the result in online mode. The cutoff for general category candidates is the 50th percentile, while for SC / ST / OBC it is the 40th percentile.

Additionally, candidates wishing to study medicine abroad must obtain the cutoff percentile and scores. The 2020 NEET limit is determined based on several factors. Based on the rating percentile, the merit list will be prepared by mentioning the All India Rank (AIR), scores, percentile, category, category rank and other details.

The exam was conducted on September 13 for admission to 80,055 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH and 525 BVSc-AH places.

According to the official brochure, the NEET cut-off percentile shows the candidate’s performance comparison among other applicants, while the scores indicate how much an applicant has achieved from the total scores. The admission limit for the NEET exam is the last rank and its corresponding marks in which admission is granted to a particular university and category. The NEET limit for admission to the following seats is considered:
– 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) positions in government universities
– 85% of state seats in public universities
– Considered and central universities
– ESIC and AFMC
– Private institutes
– 15 AIIMS and two JIPMER institutions
NEET Counseling 2020
On the basis of the list of merits prepared, the Medical Advisory Committee (MCC) will carry out the advising for admission to 15% of AIQ, all considered / core universities, ESIC and AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER institutions. While state advisory committees will organize NEET counseling sessions to grant admission to 85 percent of state seats and private universities in the state.
