NDA is one, they will contest the polls together, says Ravi Shankar Prasad – bihar choice

BJP senior leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said on Saturday that the NDA constituents will participate together in the Bihar assembly elections, stating that problems within the coalition will be resolved.

Prasad, the Union Law Minister, expressed his confidence that the alliance led by Nitish Kumar in Bihar will win the elections with a decisive mandate due to the development work carried out by the Center and the state government.

“NDA is one … We will compete in elections together. If there is a problem, it will be solved ”, he said, answering a question about the differences between the LJP and the JD (U).

JD (U) from Nitish Kumar and LJP led by Chirag Paswan have been at odds for some time.

The LJP has indicated that it would run candidates against the JD (U), creating an uncomfortable situation within the NDA in Bihar.

Even as Paswan pledges his allegiance to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose cabinet is served by his father and LJP founder Ram Vilas Paswan, he has often criticized the government of Nitish Kumar.

Elections will be held in the state in three phases from October 28 to November 7. Votes will be counted on November 10.

Speaking to reporters in the party’s office here, Prasad said discussions are taking place about the allocation of seats “at the levels where it should be.” It is your job to decide. I can’t enter your domain, ”he said, answering a question about the seat-sharing formula.

Prasad, who represents the Patna Sahib headquarters in Lok Sabha, said that the government led by Nitish Kumar has worked hard for the overall development of the state.

“I am confident that the people of Bihar will bless the NDA and help it return to power with a decisive mandate because of its development work. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s love for Bihar is evident from the fact that the announcements he made have been translated into reality, ”the minister said.

In an apparent blow to RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, Prasad questioned why photos of Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi have been removed from party posters.

“Out of curiosity, I just want to know why one is ashamed of his heritage. Why is it necessary to hide one’s inheritance? It’s because they have nothing to show, ”he said.

The BJP leader said that there is no clarity on who the leader of the opposition Grand Alliance is and he is in a state of confusion.

“The alliance is in disarray because people abandon it.

It will be interesting to know who remains in the alliance, Prasad said.
