NCB will object to Rhea Chakraborty’s bail statement and will seek judicial custody in court


Shortly before presenting Rhea Chakraborty to the trial court, the NCB has confirmed that they will object to her bail statement if it is presented. NCB Deputy Director Ashok Jain has reported that the agency will push for judicial custody of Rhea. The Bollywood actress was arrested earlier in the day and is currently undergoing a medical examination, after which she will be brought to court via video conference.

“Everything you have told us during the interrogation is sufficient for your arrest. We will oppose all bail requests. People who are currently in NCB custody, 4 of them, their pretrial detention declaration ends tomorrow. We will oppose to all bail statements. We are satisfied “with the questioning,” Dy DG Jain told the media Tuesday night.

Rhea slapped with 5 NDPS sections

The NCB arrested the Bollywood actor under sections 89 (c), 20 (b), 27 (a), 28 and 29 of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS). According to sources, on Day 3 of her questioning by the NCB, Rhea Chakraborty admitted that she was using not only marijuana, but also hard drugs.

According to leading sources, the actress had previously admitted to ‘acquiring drugs’ along with her brother Showik, who has also been arrested by NCB. In her latest statement to the NCB, Rhea stated that she was using “chemicals” or hard drugs, in addition to marijuana, according to sources.

Among the other highlights of Rhea’s confession to the NCB has been that she took the names of Bollywood stars who used drugs, as she was confronted by links to these names. According to the main sources, she has also spoken about the parties where such drugs were consumed. ‘

Consequently, according to sources, the NCB has drawn up a list of 25 personalities from the film industry who were involved in this cartel, and this has been segregated into categories A, B and C. It is likely that the subpoena will be sent to them within One week. In addition to arresting Rhea and her brother Showik Chakraborty, the OCN has so far detained Abbas Lakhani, Karan Arora, Abdel Basit Parihar, Samuel Miranda, Showik Chakraborty, Dipesh Sawant, Kaizan Ebrahim, Zaid Vilatra and Anuj Keshwani.
