NCB will appeal in SC against Rhea Chakraborty’s bail

The NCB will now challenge Bombay High Court bail for Rhea Chakraborty in a drug case related to the death of the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Additional Attorney General Anil Singh, after the Superior Court ruling, said: “There are many issues related to this matter. Therefore, NCB will urge the Superior Court against Rhea Chakraborty’s bail.” The Bombay High Court has granted Rhea a conditional bond. Rhea’s brother Showik’s release on bail has been dismissed.

Rhea Chakravarty has been granted a bond with a personal bond of 1 lakh. You have to present your passport. Court permission must be obtained to leave Mumbai. Also, you have to give your assistance to the nearest police station for 10 days a day at 11 in the morning. Once a month, Rhea will also have to go to the NCB office.

Rhea Chakravarty’s defender, Satish Manshinde, argued in court that some charges under the NDPS against Rhea were unfair. Rhea was mistakenly arrested and kept in jail for so many days. After a lengthy debate, the court granted Rhea bail in the case. “We presented evidence on our behalf in court and we talked about some of the sections, which the court accepted,” said Satish Manshinde. He further said that “the way in which Rhea was arrested is incorrect. The behavior of three central agencies (CBI, ED, NCB) was incorrect.” The investigation of the case continues.
