Deepika Padukone, Rakul Preet Singh, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan were recently questioned by the Office of Narcotics Control. They were asked to join the investigation after various alleged drug chats came to light. The NCB wants to find the broadest drug nexus prevailing in the industry in relation to the Sushant Singh Rajput case. According to recent reports, NCB will now examine the financial records of Deepika, Shraddha, Rakul and Sara.
The report further suggested that they will analyze the details of the actors’ bank accounts. The BCN was already verifying credit card payments made during the last three years. It is being done to determine if payments allegedly related to drugs were made.
The NCB has already recorded statements from former Sushant manager Shruti Modi, former Dharma Productions executive producer Kshitij Prasad Ravi, CEO of talent management agency Dhruv Chitgopekar, producer Madhu Mantena Varma, and several others.
NCB arrested Sushant’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, Sushant’s home manager Samuel Miranda, Dipesh Sawant’s personal staff, and several drug dealers in the case.
