NCB raids Rakul Preet’s home after alleged ‘diversion attempt’ and his late joining the investigation

As the Bureau of Narcotics Control (NCB) continues to crack down on the drug link in Bollywood, several prominent personalities from the film industry, including Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor were summoned for an investigation. However, actress Rakul Preet on Thursday denied receiving subpoenas from the central agency and did not appear for questioning.

“Rakul Preet Singh has not received the alleged summons either at his Mumbai residence or in Hyderabad as of now,” an official statement from his team reads.

However, the statement released by the ‘Yaariyan’ actor turned out to be false as NCB’s KPS Malhotra revealed that Rakul Preet Singh was summoned for questioning, but she did not respond to it.

“Subpoenas were issued to Rakul Preet and she was contacted through various platforms, including her phone, but she was not available. So far there has been no response from her, ”KPS Malhotra said Thursday.

The NCB resented her subpoena, stating that Rakul Preet had “ tried to be wrong ” to buy time and said a non-bail order (NBW) would be received if she did not cooperate. Following this, Rakul Preet’s team confirmed that they had received the summons and said that he would join on Friday, a day later than was supposed.

Now, in the latest development, Rakul Preet Singh’s home in Mumbai has been raided by NCB detectives.
