The Narcotics Control Office (NCB) questioned Dipesh Sawant during the night of September 5-6. Dipesh Sawant is the housekeeper of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who died by suicide in June this year.
An NCB source said Dipesh Sawant’s statement has been recorded and suggests that Rhea was behind the purchase of illegal drugs for Sushant’s home. Before Sawant, the manager of the Rajput home, Samuel Miranda, also named Rhea Chakraborty saying that she asked him to buy illegal drugs.
On Sunday morning, the NCB team arrived at Rhea Chakraborty’s home in Mumbai. Police are also present at Rhea Chakraborty’s home.

Miranda was arrested Saturday along with Rhea’s brother, Showik Chakraborty. In her statement, Showik also told NCB that it was Rhea who asked her to buy illegal drugs when she was in a domestic relationship with Sushant.
The NCB also mentioned that Dipesh, Showik and Rhea will have to be confronted while on remand.
A trial court sent Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda into NCB custody until September 9. Both have been arrested under Sections 8C, 28 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS).
Other people believed to have been involved in the investigation have also been questioned. A Kaizan Ibrahim was placed in judicial custody for 14 days and then released on bail.
