The Bureau of Narcotics Control was silent in issuing subpoenas to Rhea Chakraborty after arresting her brother Showik. The agency reported that during raids at her residence on Friday, technical and daily gadgets were seized. NCB informs the media about Showik Chakraborty case
When asked about the details of Rhea’s subpoena, amid reports that she is likely to appear on Sunday, NCB Deputy Director KPS Malhotra replied: “I am not in a position to reveal what will happen tomorrow. What has happened so far, that we are open to the brief media and that the man has already reported ”.
Reacting to the ‘chances’ of Rhea being arrested, the officer said: “It is not based on possibility, it is based on evidence. We are investigating the evidence and, at night, we will be in a better position to reveal. ”
He then said: “As of now, no subpoena has been issued to anyone, other than who is under investigation.”
When asked about a ‘deeper nexus’, amid claims by Kangana Ranaut about large-scale consumption by Bollywood stars, he replied: “As for the speculative questions, we will need time to investigate them.”
