Navjot Sidhu breaks the silence of Twitter; Says Punjab Soul Attack Will Not Be Tolerated: The Tribune India

Former Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu broke his year-long silence on Twitter on Friday by speaking out strongly against agricultural bills passed by the Lok Sabha.

Sidhu, who last took to Twitter on September 25, 2019, when he left his official bungalow as Punjab’s cabinet minister after resigning, said that agriculture is the soul of Punjab and attacks on the soul will not be tolerated.

“Agriculture is the soul of Punjab. Wounds to the body can heal, but wounds to the soul will not be tolerated or tolerated, ”he said on Twitter, expressing his solidarity with farmers who are in arms against the legislation passed by the Lok Sabha.

Sidhu tweeted that farmers are the pride and identity of all Punjabis.

“Sarkaarein tamaam umr yehi bhool karti hain, Dhool unke chehre par thi aaeena saaf karti hain,” Sidhu tweeted, declaring his support for the farmers and telling them to prepare for a fight against the government that has “taken away their rights.”
