In the direction of Earth flying unknown to scientists, the comet. This heavenly body was only open a couple of weeks ago, and in early May it should get as close to the planet as possible.
For the first time, this object was detected by the American Space Agency for Solar Wind Anisotropies from the NASA satellite on April 11. And after just two and a half weeks, the comet flight can observe anyone on Earth. It will be enough to see even the simplest amateur telescope, and the comet may be visible even to the naked eye in the night sky. Whoever discovered the comet was given the name “Swan” by astronomers. According to astrophysicists, even in ancient times, when the Earth was not inhabited by people, that comet could unite with the planet. Supposedly it was 25 million years ago.
After the flight, land the spacecraft directed towards the sun and it will approach it on May 27, after which it will begin to be removed. Experts believe that we are talking about a hyperbolic comet, which comes from the ORT cloud. Such objects generally move at high speed and navigate their path in a rather challenging course that crosses the solar system only once in tens of millions of years.
