John Krasinski recently started a new digital show called Some Good News. The main idea behind the program was to share positive news during the new coronavirus pandemic.
On April 21, something extraordinary happened on the show. Three astronauts from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), who live on the International Space Station (ISS), sent a video saying that “Earth still looked beautiful.”
The video was first shared by one of the astronauts, Jessica Meir, on Twitter. Jessica is also a student at Brown University, USA. UU., Like Krasinski.
Later, NASA also shared the video with the caption: “Yes, John Krasinski, that just happened! 250 miles above our home planet, some of our NASA astronauts shared some good news:” Earth is still beautiful “.

The video begins with John Krasinski sitting at his desk, saying, “And this week something extraordinary happened. The joy was not only echoed throughout the world. It echoed his departure from this world.”
The scene then changes to the three astronauts on the International Space Station, where they show the station from the inside and also reveal what Earth looks like from space. They also shared that there has been a continuous human presence on the space station for twenty years. Astronauts also talk about how their days go by. Of the three astronauts, two of them are excited to return home soon and meet their families.
Astronauts also show how easily they can jump backwards in the absence of gravity. They end the video again showing Earth from the window, saying: “Earth is still beautiful. It is worth returning to a Earth in crisis.”
The video went viral as soon as it was shared. At the time of submitting the article, the video had accumulated more than 7,000 visits and more than 31.5,000 likes.
April 22 is celebrated every year as Earth Day to support environmental protection. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.
