Narendra Chanchal, a well-known bhajan singer, died in a Delhi hospital on Friday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and wrote: “Very saddened to hear the news from Narendra Chanchal HeeDeath. He left a mark on the world of devotional songs. My condolences to his family and followers. “Narendra Chanchal was admitted to a hospital on November 27. He was 76 years old. Several others condoled the death of Narendra Chanchal. In addition to several bhajansNarendra Chanchal had also sung in Hindi movies.
“Extremely saddened to learn of the unfortunate passing of veteran singer Narendra Chanchal known for his religious songs and bhajans… ”, said the Ministry of Culture in its message of condolence.
