The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained a person, Karamjeet, from the Andheri West area of ​​Mumbai on Saturday, allegedly in connection with the drug case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Karamjeet was seen being taken to the OCN office in Mumbai today.

So far, the NCB has arrested several people in the case, including actress Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, Abdul Basit Parihar, Zaid Vilatra, Dipesh Sawant and Samuel Miranda.

Meanwhile, a special NDPS court had yesterday rejected the bail statement of actor Rhea Chakraborty, Showik and several others in the matter.

The NCB had launched an investigation after receiving an official communication from the Directorate of Enforcement (ED), in which there were several talks related to the consumption, acquisition, use and transport of drugs in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput case. .

The agency had said Parihar’s links to those previously registered were found, based on preliminary investigation into details submitted by ED.

On July 31, the Emergency Department had registered a Compliance Case Information Report in the case of the late actor’s death after Rajput’s father KK Singh filed a First Information Report against Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar on 28 of July.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14.
