Mulund Sardar Tara Singh Dies Four Times MLA | Mumbai News


MUMBAI: Sardar tara singh, a former BJP MLA from Mulund, passed away at Lilavati Hospital on Saturday after a prolonged illness. She was 81 years old.
His funeral will be held on Sunday in Zion, where he lived. Messages of condolence flowed throughout the day for the veteran leader, a popular figure who was elected four consecutive times to the Mulund constituency state legislature between 1999 and 2019.
BJP opposition leader and former prime minister Devendra Fadnavis tweeted: “… we lost a high-ranking and valuable colleague at @ BJP4Maharashtra. His active participation during the assembly proceedings, his commitment to his electorate and the common man will be remembered forever. ”
Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari also tweeted: “In his disappearance, the city and the state have lost a dedicated Lok Sevak. I offer my prayers for the deceased soul and convey my condolences to the grieving family. ”
BJP MLA from Malabar Hill Mangal Prabhat Lodha said, “A vacuum has been created by his passing. May Waheguru grant moksh to his soul. ”
Singh had served as a BMC corporate from 1985 to 1999.
