Wasim Jaffer was on top of his Twitter game once again when he retweeted an image of MS Dhoni sporting a bald appearance and added a quirky caption to describe the image. When Dhoni was seen with shaved hair, Jaffer’s pun came to the fore and he commented, “Thalai Lama.” The captain of the Chennai Super Kings is called, Dhoni Thala by the fans of CSK, which is Tamil for leader. Jaffer’s knack for humor is well known through his tweets and social media memes.

Dhoni, who retired from international cricket in August 2020, will return to action in the Indian Premier League (IPL) when he is ready to lead CSK in the 14th edition of the tournament.
Dhoni had stated before the last match of CSK’s IPL 2020 that “definitely not” was his last match in the yellow jersey.
The 39-year-old has already been hitting the nets at the MA Chidambaram stadium, as seen in the images and videos posted by CSK on social media.
The IPL season begins on April 9 with the defending champion Mumbai Indians taking on the Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai.
Neither team will have the advantage of playing at home this season, as the league has been programmed in such a way that neither team plays at home.
CSK will kick off their campaign on April 10 in Mumbai when they take on last season’s runner-up Delhi Capitals.

Six cities – Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Delhi and Ahmedabad – will host the IPL this season.
