Online and indoor gaming became a staple in Indian homes after the coronavirus pandemic pushed Indians to stay home. But the commitment to playing a “fair” game took a wild turn when a 24-year-old woman approached a family court in Bhopal after her father allegedly cheated on the popular Ludo multiplayer game.
After the incident, the upset woman wanted to cut all ties with her father, whom she did not expect to deceive. India today reported.
The woman, who said she lost all respect for her father after that Game of Ludo, approached Sarita, a Bhopal councilor, who was informed about that fateful game she was playing with her brothers and father when the latter killed one of her tokens, according to the report. She added that she hoped he would lose the game because of her “happiness”.
“She said that she trusted her father so much and did not expect him to cheat on her. We have held 4 counseling sessions with her,” said counselor Sarita, quoted by AND ME.

The 17-year-old would take his father’s cell phone under the guise of online classes, but would access his father’s bank accounts to make in-app purchases for himself and his friends.
To make up for the losses incurred, the game addicted boy was forced to work in a scooter repair shop.
