Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal declared on Wednesday that all weekly markets will be open every day from now on. Previously, only two markets per zone were allowed to operate to contain the spread of the virus.
Furthermore, Kejriwal also added that according to the Unlock 5 guidelines issued by the Home Office, the cinemas and theaters in Delhi will open from October 15. “They have to follow all the guidelines issued by the central government,” stressed Delhi CM.
Movie theaters will open with 50% capacity.
Previously, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting had published standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the opening of cinemas and theaters throughout the country.
Under the SoPs, only 50 percent of the total capacity seats will be allowed and alternate seats will be left vacant for social distancing. In addition to this, masks will be mandatory in movie theaters.
“All COVID-19 guidelines and standard operating protocols (SOPs) issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting must be followed in all movie theaters and movie theaters,” said I&B Minister Prakash Javadekar.
These are the guidelines for reopening movie theaters:
-The occupancy of the auditorium must not exceed 50%
-Adequate physical distance when sitting
-The seats ‘Do not occupy’ will be marked as such
-Provision for hand washing and hand sanitizers.
-The installation and use of the Aarogya Setu application must be informed to everyone
-Thermal screening will be performed. Only asymptomatic people will be allowed.
-Self-control of health and notification of any disease
– Staggered show times will be followed for different screens
-Encourage digital payment methods
-Regular cleaning and disinfection of the locker, and other areas
-A sufficient number of counters will be opened at the box office
-Audience is encouraged to avoid movement during intermission
-Floor markers will be used for physical distancing for the management of queues at the ticket office.
-Buy tickets at the box office to be open throughout the day, prior reservation to avoid overcrowding
-Only packaged food and beverages will be allowed; there is no delivery inside the hall.
-Multiple food and beverage sales counters.
-Measures for the safety of the hygiene of the personnel such as adequate provision of gloves, boots, masks, PPE, etc.
-The contact number will be taken to facilitate contact tracing
-Stigmatization related to Covid-19 or rebellious behavior will be strictly addressed.
-The temperature setting of the whole air conditioner should be in the range of 24-30 degrees Celsius
-Public service announcement on the use of masks, physical distancing and hand hygiene before and after the selection and during the intermission.
Meanwhile, the national capital recorded 35 new victims due to COVID-19 on Wednesday and the death toll rose to 5,616, while 2,871 new cases brought the tally to more than 2.98 lakh, authorities said.
These new cases were detected after 51,505 tests were performed the day before.
Thirty-five new deaths have been recorded, bringing the death toll to 5,616, according to the latest bulletin issued by the Delhi health department.
The active case count on Wednesday fell to 22,186 from 22,720 the day before.
The bulletin said that the total number of cases has risen to 2,98,107.
