Motorola announced the Moto G Stylus in April, and we learned early last month that the company is working on its successor, called the Moto G Stylus (2021). We don’t know when the Moto G Stylus (2021) will be unveiled, but it just appeared on Amazon with some of its specs and official-looking images.
The Moto G Stylus (2021) has a hole-punch display like the 2020 Moto G Stylus, but now it has a textured back with an additional camera on the back, bringing the total count to four. Based on an earlier leak, we are looking at a 48MP primary, an 8MP ultrawide, and two 2MP drives (depth and macro). The selfie camera inside the punched hole is rumored to have a 16MP sensor.
The renders also tell us that the Moto G Stylus (2021) will feature a side-mounted fingerprint reader, as opposed to the 2020 model that came with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Moto G Stylus (2021) will come with a stylus, which will go inside the slot at the bottom right of the USB-C port, with the 3.5mm headphone jack located on the left.
The Amazon listing revealed that the Moto G Stylus (2021) will run Android 10 and have 4GB of RAM on board. It also mentions a 4,000 mAh battery and 5G network support. A previous leak claimed that the smartphone will come with a Snapdragon 675 SoC, 6.81 “FHD + display, and 128GB storage.
Amazon says the Moto G Stylus (2021) will be priced at $ 339.95, but that could be a placeholder and shouldn’t be considered final.
