Last month Motorola introduced its Moto G 5G as its most affordable 5G phone in Europe and now the phone is heading to India. The Moto G 5G will retail for INR 20,999 ($ 284) and official sales will begin on December 7. HDFC bank card owners get an additional discount of INR 1,000.
It comes in the same Frosted Silver and Volcanic Gray colors and is spearheaded by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G chipset, which is a first on the Indian market. The 5G SoC is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be expanded via microSD. You get a 6.7-inch FHD + IPS LCD screen up front with a centered punch hole for the 16MP selfie camera.

There’s a 48MP main camera on the back along with an 8MP ultra-wide snapper and a 2MP macro shooter. The fourth cutout on the camera island is for the LED flash. You also get a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner located inside the Moto dimple.
The battery reaches 5,000 mAh and charges 20W. The phone boots Android 10 with Motorola’s My UX on top, which will soon be receiving and updating to Android 11.
