A fire broke out early Wednesday in a two-story building that houses Raymonds’s office alongside Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School on Pokhran Road No. 1 in Thane, Maharashtra. So far, no injuries or casualties have been reported in the fire, which had been controlled, authorities said.
Police officials, limited officials from the Maharashtra state electricity distribution company, regional disaster management cell and fire brigade personnel were on the scene with four fire trucks, two rescue vehicles, three tanker trucks , two jumbo water tankers and two jeeps.
“The cause of the fire is unknown, but as the incident occurred early in the morning, the office premises were empty, the situation is now under control.
