NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra modi on Friday he traveled to Bihar before the assembly elections to address the electorate presenting the narrative of the NDA alliance. Prime Minister Modi addresses a rally in Sasaram

  • I want to congratulate the people of Bihar for showing their courage in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. In the absence of a quick response, the situation could not have been handled.
  • The people of Bihar have already given their answer. All polls and polls predict a return of the NDA government. All reports and opinion polls predict that “Phir ek baar, NDA sarkar in Bihar”.
  • The sons of Bihar were martyred in the Galwan Valley for the tricolor, but they did not let Mother India bow down. Bihar soldiers were also martyred in the Pulwama attack, I prostrate at their feet and pay homage to them.
  • Before the elections, when the government initiated cash transfers and when we bought Rafale, they acted as “middlemen.”
  • Today’s intermediaries do not even hesitate to collude with those who work against the country. Now they are talking about reinstating Article 370 if he comes to power.
  • They have never cared about you. They are selfish. This is the reason why electricity, roads and water, which are basic necessities, were not available in Bihar for years.
  • These people looted Bihar in its 15 years of rule. Voters trusted them but exploited people. And when Bihar removed them from power and gave Nitish ji a chance instead, they were frustrated.
  • They used their UPA rule at the Center to block development work in Bihar. Nitish ji was in power in Bihar but they did not let him work. Nitish ji’s 10 years were in vain.
  • If they return to power, Bihar will return in years.
  • Let’s not forget that NDA has only worked for 2-3 years with Nitish ji.

The BJP and JDU had agreed to compete for 121-122 seats respectively in the 243-member assembly. The JDU, which has a share of 122 seats according to the understanding, has yielded seats to the Hindustani Awaam Morcha of Jitin Ram Manjhi of its quota.
The BJP had formally included the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and assigned it 11 seats as part of the distribution of seats among the allies for the Bihar elections.
The Bihar assembly elections will take place in three phases: on October 28, November 3 and 7, and the counting of votes will take place on November 10.
