Modi calls Bandi, beating party cadres for election work


Hyderabad: Underlining the BJP’s intention to emerge as a serious player in Telangana state politics, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on his party’s TS unit chairman Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Wednesday for an update on the Municipal Corporation elections. of Greater Hyderabad.

The Prime Minister also inquired about the attack on the Bandi convoy the day before the elections in the city. He also appreciated the work of Bandi and other top party leaders and asked them to fight for the people aggressively.

Bandi informed Modi that several party leaders were injured in attacks by TRS leaders during the electoral process. He said the party was taking care of the victims and that he was visiting in person and asking about their health.

Modi also appreciated the hard work done by the teams to put the party in a better position at TS. He also thanked all the workers and leaders who worked hard for the GHMC election.

Bandi told the Prime Minister that the party is increasing its strength day by day in TS and the people are welcoming the party’s performance under the leadership of Modi and Union ministers Amit Shah and JP Nadda.

Speaking to the Deccan Chronicle, Bandi said the prime minister’s call has significantly raised morale in the party cadre and said the BJP’s TS unit will continue its aggressive work to strengthen the party in the state.

Bandi said Modi especially thanked the youth leaders for their aggressive pro-party campaign in the state.
