Gautam Pashankar (65), a businessman based in the city, was reported missing since Wednesday, relatives told police on Thursday. Family members handed over a “note” to the police that is suspected to have been written by Pashankar. Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta said: “His last known location is from inside the city. There was an ATM transaction. Cleaned your phone while formatting it. He withdrew Rs 5,000. “However, his son Kapil Pashankar denied knowledge of any ATM transactions made with his father’s card.” He left the two phones in the car and the driver brought them back.
