Former Miss India Delhi Mansi Sehgal joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the presence of party leader Raghav Chadha, the Delhi-based party said today in a statement.
Ms. Sehgal, Miss India Delhi 2019, said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s “honest rule” inspired her to join the party.
“Inspired by the honest rule of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the hard work of MLA Raghav Chadha, I chose to join the Aam Aadmi Party, and I feel that through clean politics, we can bring about substantial change in the world we live in, “Ms. Sehgal was quoted by the PTI news agency.
He also urged young people and women to be an active part of politics and join the AAP. “I urge our young people and in particular our women to join us in bringing about the change we all want to see,” she said.
Raghav Chadha recruited Ms. Sehgal to the AAP at Naraina Vihar Club in the presence of several residents.
