After the resounding success of Mirzapur season 2, the creators and the streaming platform have renewed the web series for a third season.
According to Amazon Prime Video, nearly 50% of the audience finished watching the show’s second season in just two days. It has also become the most watched show on the OTT platform in just seven days after its launch.
On the success of the second season, producer Ritesh Sidhwani said: “The massive fandom of the show and the magnitude of viewers’ love for the new season were seen through social media reactions within days of its release, and we are really touched by the answer. “
Mirzapur stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Vijay Varma, Divyendu Sharma, among others, in key roles.
