Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard are in death together as the Mumbai Indians await a grand finale. Quinton de Kock raised his eleventh IPL fifty before Rashid Khan fired him, and Ishan Kishan also had his eye on him before launching a spectacular catch from Manish Pandey. Sandeep Sharma had hit for SunRisers Hyderabad as he had fired Rohit Sharma trapped behind to give the Mumbai Indians an early setback. Suryakumar Yadav and Quinton de Kock, however, were unaffected by the early wicket when they got the limits at the Poweplay before Siddarth Kaul caught Suryakumar on the thin leg. Mumbai has won the draw and is batting first against Hyderabad. (LIVE SCORE CARD)

  • 17:15 (IST)

    SIX!

6, 4, 4, 6 – The last four balls in Mumbai innings when 21 runs came out of the final.

Krunal breaks the last six-ball when he hits 20 of four balls and Mumbai gets 208/5 in 20 overs.

  • 17:13 (IST)

    SIX! FOUR! FOUR!

Krunal Pandya comes in and smashes Kaul by a six and a four on the first two balls and then another four when Mumbai crosses 200!

Sensational strokes from the get-go by Krunal!

  • 17:11 (IST)

    SHUTTER! Hardik b Kaul 28 (19)

What a Kaul yorker! Right at the base of the bat and crashes into stumps when Hardik misses with his savage punch.

Crucial window for SRH in the final.

  • 17:09 (IST)

    Natarajan finishes well – 4-0-29-0

Give away 11 on the 19 with a four and a six and at least four yorkers. That’s a good comeback on ground like Sharjah and hitters like Pollard and Hardik on the fold.

  • 17:07 (IST)

    FOUR!

Hardik carves this complete Natarajan ball about a backward spot for four. He opened the face of the bat and used the pace of the pitcher to guide this ball to the limit.

  • 17:05 (IST)

    SIX!

Natarajan arrives to launch his latest over. Pollard takes it for a six on the first ball. The young man is immediately under pressure.

  • 17:01 (IST)

    SIX!

Another full release and another six.

It was crushed towards the middle of the gate and Rashid’s spectacular effort on the fence was in vain as he failed to catch the ball and threw it over the rope.

  • 16:59 (IST)

    SIX!

Sandeep goes around the wicket and takes a low, full shot at Pollard. Sandeep misses his yorker, but Pollard doesn’t miss his shot.

He hammers it into the corner of the cow for another six.

  • 16:58 (IST)

    Natarajan ends well

He was taken by a six on the first ball of 17, but gave up just four more runs on the next five balls.

    Good death to Natarajan bowling.

  • 16:54 (IST)

    SIX! OFF THE GROUND!

Natarajan returns and throws a stretch at Hardik. The batter hits him for a long time for a HUGE SIX!

  • 16:50 (IST)

    Kishan c M Pandey b Sandeep 31 (23)

    What a catch!

Manish Pandey had missed a few in previous games, as well as this one, but this time he has done wonders.

Kishan had thrown this one long and Pandey, stationed in the wide corner of the long / cow, ran in, dove along, and lifted it an inch off the ground.

Kishan left and SRH broke this partnership before it could flourish.

  • 4:47 PM (IST)

    FOUR!

Another ball packed and out wide, but Hardik reaches for the ball and punches it through the covers for four more.

He divided the gap between the two fielders in the depths pretty well.

  • 4:46 PM (IST)

    SIX!

Sandeep shoves it too full, right in the slot, and Hardik breaks it for a long time during his first six.

Mumbai hopes it will be the first of many to come.

  • 16:39 (IST)

    SIX!

However, Kishan doesn’t care about the wicket. De Kock missed his job, but Kishan connects with his as the ball sails for another six.

    Too, Hardik Pandya has arrived!

  • 16:38 (IST)

    SHUTTER! De Kock (c & b Rashid) 67 (39)

Rashid returns and makes the breakthrough for SRH.

This was misguided by De Kock as he headed for a great effort. The top edge carried the ball miles into the air and Rashid ran and ran for miles while keeping his eyes on the ball and taking the catch in the middle of the wicket.

Great return of the hipster leg spinner.

  • 16:34 (IST)

    SIX!

    Placed!

Another ball to the back and De Kock hits this wider and longer for another six.

SRH desperate for a window here.

  • 16:32 (IST)

    FOUR!

    Subtle!

De Kock shows all three stumps by walking on them and does a Kaul ramp with a slower ball back through the fine leg for four.

  • 16:29 (IST)

    SIX!

Kishan also springs into action. It stays ingrained in your crease and strives for this one from Williamson for a long time for six.

17 races came out of Williamson’s second lap!

  • 16:27 (IST)

    SIX!

50 for Quinton de Kock with just 32 balls.

Place Williamson on the bowler’s head for six to reach the milestone. They are his first 50 this season.

  • 16:25 (IST)

    Two quiet overs from SRH

After seven runs in the 10th, Rashid gives away just four singles in the 11th. SRH is pulling this well.

  • 16:23 (IST)

Kane Williamson enters … with the ball

Williamson conceded just seven runs in his first over. After 10 overs, Mumbai is 90/2.

How many will they end up with at the end of the 20th?

  • 16:16 (IST)

    FOUR!

Another short ball from Samad and Kock goes through the middle of the wicket, splits the space between the two fielders deep on the leg side and gets a limit.

  • 16:13 (IST)

    SIX!

Samad continues. De Kock takes the second ball of over six HUGE over the pitcher’s head. De Kock has played well so far and looks set for his first substantial hit of the tournament.

  • 16:11 (IST)

    FOUR!

Ishan faces off against Rashid as he sweeps the spinning leg through the square leg for four.

He had scored 99 of 58 two games ago and looks good for another hit here.

  • 16:09 (IST)

    Rashid Khan on the attack!

Two lefties in the fold, so Mumbai might be a bit easy to take on the leg-twist maverick.

  • 16:08 (IST)

    SIX!

Quinton de Kock would have had his heart in his mouth here. He throws a short ball from Abdul Samad to the middle of the wicket, where Manish Pandey puts his hands on the ball only for it to burst through them and land on the fence.

Pandey had also lost some in the previous games and has started this game badly too.

  • 16:06 (IST)

50 for the Indians of Mumbai!

Mumbai is up to 50 in the seventh.

Ishan Kishan has just arrived and Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya are waiting behind the scenes.

    Do not go anywhere!

  • 16:02 (IST)

    SHUTTER! Suryakumar c Natarajan b Kaul 27 (18)

Shutter! It’s a bad ball again, but Kaul lands a wicket.

Another half-volley leg stump and Surya hits it good, but finds the man with the short, thin leg.

Natarajan grabs is cleanly right above his head and Mumbai has lost its second wicket.

  • 16:00 (IST)

    FOUR! Exquisite!

On the thrown ball and Surya plays a delicious cover for four. She looks in good contact here.

  • 15:59 (IST)

    FOUR!

Siddarth Kaul returns to release the latest Powerplay over.

He throws a full waist-high pitch on the leg stump to Surya, who throws it through the square leg for four. Bad line, bad length.

  • 15:54 (IST)

    FOUR!

Natarajan returns and de Kock takes him for a four on the first ball.

This was overpowered and de Kock drills it into the ground.

  • 15:50 (IST)

    FOUR!

    On the pads and four.

Sandeep throws an outer leg and all Surya had to do was direct the square leg back.

  • 15:47 (IST)

    FOUR! FOUR!

    Consecutive limits for Suryakumar.

A ball of good length but a bit wide on the outside. Surya touches it on the rise and through the covers for another four.

The next ball is drilled into the ground for another boundary. It is a hat-trick of four in this change and Mumbai is moving forward.

  • 15:46 (IST)

    FOUR!

Suryakumar plays a beautiful drive over cover to open his account with a limit.

He featured the full face of the bat and hit it over the fielders in the ring. Good shot.

  • 15:44 (IST)

    FOUR!

Siddarth Kaul is on the attack. It swerves and starts with one on the Quinton de Kock pads. The batter throws it through the square leg for four.

  • 15:42 (IST)

    What a start with SRH!

After six runs and a wicket in the first over, T Natarajan only singles in the second.

In a hitting paradise like Sharjah, that’s an excellent start.
  • 15:36 (IST)

    SHUTTER! Rohit c Bairstow b Sandeep 6 (5)

    Sandeep attacks! Rohit is out!

What a great window this is for SSR from the start.

This was a wide ball if Rohit had left it alone. Too far and Rohit is chasing him. He gets a slight advantage behind the ‘keeper. SRH reviewed the single-field decision not out and reversed it.

  • 15:33 (IST)

Sandeep Sharma will launch first to finish, Rohit attacks … and SIX!

Some swing early when Rohit plays three points.

And then throw a ball slightly back over the corner of the cow for a six. The first of many to come.
