Hello and welcome to the 2020 IPL Match 48 in the UAE. Mumbai Indians (MI) face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in a 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) match in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
We are less than 5 minutes from launch. Television charts from the official broadcaster show Pollard will air alongside Kohli.
PITCH REPORT
“Teams will want to hit first. Green grass clinking. It’s a bit dry lately,” JP Duminy says. “The match between MI and RR saw the most runs here. Speeds below 125 km / h will have a running speed of less than 8 rpo, while 130 or more will go for 10 rpo and more. Variations are key here. This pitch is just for hitting, “acknowledges Darren Ganga.
– Alert for a new episode of the Matchpoint Paradox podcast! There’s a lot of talk about the 32-member jumbo team for the Australia tour and much of the talk is centered on the exclusion of Rohit Sharma from all three formats. Oh, and there is also a little matter of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) eliminated from the current tournament. Here are Shayan Acharya, Wriddhaayan Bhattacharyya, and Vijay Lokapally discussing the main talking points.
– The question on everyone’s mind today is about the availability of the MI pattern, Rohit. Express your opinion in our survey.
#MEPreviously, he posted a video of Rohit Sharma training on social media after his name disappeared from the Australian series squads.

– Important game today for both teams. However, the focus will be on Rohit Sharma and whether he is available for tonight’s match. He has missed the last two IM games and was out of the Indian teams for the Australia tour on Monday. Regardless, MI’s explosive hitting lineup, even without Rohit, has served the team well. The extraordinary power hitting skills of Ishan Kishan and Quinton de Kock at the top, and Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya at the bottom of the order make MI a difficult team to pitch. That being said, the last time RCB played in Abu Dhabi, the ball rocked and the bowlers cheered against Kolkata Knight Riders. Let’s see how you guys do tonight …

PLAYOFFS SCENARIO FOR ME AND RCB – Both teams in action tonight have 14 points. Both have a chance to make the playoffs. If Mumbai Indians beat Royal Challengers Bangalore in Abu Dhabi, they will move to 16 points and become the first team to qualify for the playoffs. Even if Mumbai loses to Bangalore, it needs to win only one of the two remaining games to qualify. They will then face Delhi Capitals (October 31) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (November 3). On the other hand, RCB can go to 16 if he beats MI and further strengthen his case for a playoff spot. They will face Sunrisers Hyderabad (October 31) and Delhi Capitals (November 2) next. Sunrisers are still alive in the race, having beaten Delhi by a convincing margin in their last encounter. |
