Dinesh Karthik handed the reins of Kolkata Knight Riders over to Eoin Morgan, the World Cup-winning English captain, ahead of her Indian Premier League (IPL) match against the Mumbai Indians on Friday. The England captain also mentioned that a world-class team needs to have a number of leaders within the dressing room and KKR has them in abundance.
“I’ve remained myself, on any good side of the world, you have to have several leaders in the dressing room. I think we have them in abundance,” Morgan added.
Morgan, who was the vice-captain of the KKR side, said he will look to continue working with the players within the group.

KKR is currently in fourth place on the points table with four wins in seven games.
