Union Minister of the interior Amit Shah on Wednesday said that the government has decided to grant the exemption of the measures of blockade in order to carry out the Board examination for classes 10 and 12. He said, in addition, that a couple of conditions, such as social distancing, face mask, etc have been imposed, for the safety of all.
Taking micro-blogging site twitter, Shah wrote, “Taking into consideration the academic interests of a large number of students, it has been decided to grant the exemption in the block of measures to conduct the Board examination for classes 10 and 12, with some conditions, such as social distancing, face mask, etc, for your safety”.

The minister of the interior also enclosed is a letter from the Secretary of the interior Ajay Bhalla to Chief Secretaries of all states to inform about the government’s decision to allow the celebration of the board of examinations for students of Class 10 and Class 12 under certain conditions.
According to the guidelines issued, no centre of examination will be allowed in the containment zone. The students, faculty, and staff will have to wear masks. In addition, there will be at the disposal of the thermal detection and sanitiser in schools and social distancing must be followed in all the centres, special buses can be arranged by the states and territories of the union for the transport of students to the examination centres.
