Unlock 6 Guidelines Latest NewsWithout making any new changes to the existing guidelines, the Union Home Office issued a new order on Tuesday and said there will be no further relaxation in the unlocking guidelines for the next month. Almost all of the economic activities that were stopped by the Center on March 24 have been reopened outside the containment zones.

Apart from this, other activities such as Metro rail services, shopping malls and entertainment areas, restaurants, hospitality services, training institutes and religious sites have been able to function with COVID guidelines.

What is allowed:

  1. Cinemas, theaters and multiplex cinemas are allowed to open with up to 50% of the seating capacity.
  2. Business-to-business (B2B) exposures are also allowed subject to SOPs issued by the Department of Commerce.
  3. The pools used for the training of athletes can be opened subject to the SOPs issued by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
  4. The opening of entertainment parks and other similar places subject to SOPs issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is allowed.

What is not allowed:

  1. International passenger air travel is not permitted, except as permitted by the MHA.
  2. Amusement parks and similar venues will be closed to the general public.
  3. The lockdown will continue strictly in the containment zones until November 30, 2020.
  4. States will not enforce lockdown outside containment zones.
