Coronavirus: Rahul Gandhi said current test levels for COVID-19 are too low

A blockade is not the solution to combat the coronavirus, the government should go to the tests “aggressively and strategically,” Congressman Rahul Gandhi said today. He also suggested that there should be two zones in India: active zone and not active zone.
“In no way does a crash defeat the virus. It only helps stop the virus for a short time. The only way to do this is to increase the evidence and chase the virus and go further and this is my advice to the government: use evidence.” , said the congressman, speaking to the media through a video application.
At this time, he said, the government was chasing the virus, which would never give the correct picture of the pandemic in India.
“Currently, the levels of evidence are too low. I am proposing to scale up the evidence. One tip for the government is to push the tests aggressively. Maximize the tests and use them strategically, to help states in their fight,” said the Mr. Gandhi, a deputy from Kerala’s Wayanad, said.
He also said that the government should prepare a minimal financial network. “You don’t have to call it the NYAY scheme,” he said, suggesting preventive actions to provide food security.
“Don’t take it as a criticism,” he said.
“I don’t want to go in the past. We must fight together and not get into the blame game. Instead, let’s use our resources carefully and give the money to the states and districts.”
He predicted a “massive financial backlash,” claiming that the first wave of unemployment was already underway.
“We must ensure that by protecting lives, we do not completely destroy our economy.”
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should have a more detailed conversation with the states. “But Modi Hee he has a different style of work and we can work around that style, “he said.
