WASHINGTON: The internet exploded with a new photo of the first lady of the United States, Melania Trump, ignoring social distancing as she walked arm in arm with a military man and away from the president during the Veterans Day ceremony of 11 November, according to a report in the Daily Mail. It should be noted that this was Trump’s first exit since the defeat of the US presidential election.
The 50-year-old First Lady was escorted by the masked military man and protected under an umbrella with him during the visit to Arlington National Cemetery, in Donald Trump’s first public engagement since the election for Joe Biden was called.
Neither Melania, 50, nor President Donald Trump, 74, wore masks in the cemetery, unlike Trump’s daughter Ivanka, who had her face covered. Mike Pence’s wife also kept some distance from him in what appeared to be part of the protocol of the socially estranged ceremony.

However, Melania appeared to back her husband on Sunday by talking about illegal votes on Twitter, a reference to Donald Trump’s unsubstantiated claims about voter fraud.
