Melania Trump could receive $ 68 million in a divorce settlement if she decides to divorce the president of the United States, Donald Trump, according to a legal expert.

“Melania is counting every minute until he leaves office and she can get a divorce,” said former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman.
“If Melania tried to take the maximum humiliation and left while he was in office, he would find a way to punish her.”
And if Melania separates from Trump, she could receive a settlement of up to $ 50 million (A $ 68 million), said Jacqueline Newman, managing partner of Berkman Bottger Newman & Rodd, in an interview with Town and Country.

In 2018, Newman had claimed that the deal between Melania and Donald Trump would depend heavily on the 14-year-old Barron.
“Given what I’ve read in the tabloids, there doesn’t seem to be much question about who is the primary caregiver. My guess is that she would get the primary custody rights and he would have access as long as he was in town, ”Newman said.
Newman added that in this case, he would likely get around $ 50 million.
“While it’s definitely a lot of money, in New York City, from what it used to do, it couldn’t replicate what it has now. He probably had a good sense of the lifestyle they would lead, so I imagine the payment would be quite generous, “he said.
