“The local administrator prevented me from visiting Rambiara Nalla today. This is where the sand mining through illegal tenders It has been outsourced to outsiders and the locals are excluded from the area. Our lands and resources are being looted by the Government of India which has nothing but contempt for us (sic), ”Mehbooba said on Twitter.

The former chief minister of the former state said she would fight tooth and nail against the “attack” on the rights and identity of the people.
On Saturday, Mufti also accused the Center of “sabotaging” the participation of political parties other than the BJP in the District Development Council (DDC) elections in Jammu and Kashmir by not allowing them to campaign freely.
Police have said that candidates were provided collective security and placed in safe areas, as it was difficult to deploy security personnel for each candidate.
